Shark Teeth
Your child’s adult tooth is coming in, but the baby one hasn’t fallen out yet. Is that a cause for concern? The short answer is no. Sometimes called “shark teeth” because there is an extra/double row of teeth like a shark’s, this situation generally resolves itself as baby teeth eventually fall out without intervention. Shark teeth can be a sign of crowding and may be an indicator of braces in the future.
